Man makes guns with a 3D printer

We’ve seen no shortage of 3D-printed masterpieces over the last several months, but this is reportedly the first time that someone has used the technology to create a firearm. It comes from a users on the AR15 message boards, a community for gun fanatics. He used a Stratasys 3D printer to create a .22 pistol. And yes, it actually works; it can shoot bullets just like a normal gun.

You can Print it all but the Real Question is the Materials.
you cannot print a gun from the Simple plastic mat. It may melt.. so?
to create it from Metal you need another kind of "Printer", it calls CNC...

After the Batman shooting in Arura, Colorado, USA, this shit scares the hell outta me, the parts needed to complete this are readily available (firing mech, springs for the clip ect) and the new bulpup weapons used by SWAT and military around the world are 97% plastic.

Shit isn't just real, I give this tech 8 years before a Downloaded weapon kills people in a mass shooting bu someone who could NOT import such a weapon.

(Knowledge) + (tools) = (A better world) && (Fear for those who posses neither)

THX as always iNDEx for helping provide more of the knowledge quotient

I'm almost inspired to set up a Makerbot to print up an enrichment centrifuge :-)
